Hello El Paso! I hope you are doing well and staying safe.  I want to take this opportunity to reach out and tell you more about my position and my experience. Municipal Court is our City’s court that handles Class C Misdemeanors. It is the court that the majority of El Pasoans will have their one and only encounter with the judicial system. The most common cases are traffic violations. I also hear cases that include animal code violations, building and environmental code violations, and possession of drug paraphernalia or alcohol, just to name a few. It is extremely important to have a Judge that is experienced making a determination of the case. Yours or someone else’s life or livelihood could be in jeopardy. I hope I don’t have to see you in my court, but if you do end up going, you need a judge that isn’t jeopardizing the outcome because they don’t know the law or are inexperienced in Municipal Court. I was previously a City Prosecutor, then defense attorney, and now I am the Judge for a second time. I have handled thousands of cases in Municipal Court for over 12 years and understand all perspectives of parties involved. Because of my experience, I do not have a learning curve and run an efficient and fair court utilizing taxdollars prudently. I am your best and most qualified candidate for Judge of Municipal Court #4. I humbly ask for your vote to keep me in my position. Thank you and God bless you. #KeepJudgeFerris
